What ignites the universal desire to create? And what does music or art evoke in us? Explore how music can connect us to time, place and past moments as if notes themselves carry memories and emotions. Flutist Bonnie Cochran and Guitarist Fred Springer will perform Reynaldo Hahn’s The Hour of Dreaming, Shafer Mahoney’s Shining River, Nicola Porpora’s Alto Giove and the world premiere of Bonnie Cochran’s Artifact, which was inspired by a walk through Holliston’s Phipps Tunnel and a soundscape recorded in the tunnel. Snacks and mulled cider will be served beginning at 6:30pm!
